Know Toyota Innova Hycross hybrid MPV loan EMI on Rs 2.1 lakh down payment: Details explained

Toyota finally launched the new-gen Innova in India earlier this week in the form of the Innova Hycross, which sits above the Innova Crysta in the carmaker’s portfolio and can be had with either a 2.0-litre petrol engine, or a 2.0-litre petrol-hybrid powertrain. Unlike the Innova Crysta, no diesel engine is on offer with the new Innova Hycross MPV.
Are you planning to purchase the brand-new Toyota Innova Hycross and wondering how much EMI would you have to pay? Here’s a table showing the variant-wise on-road (Delhi) price of the MPV, and the lowest monthly installment you would have to shell out for it, keeping in mind an average tenure, ROI, as well as down payment –

Variant On-road price
Tenure Interest rate Down payment EMI
2.0L petrol
G 7-seater Rs 21.31 lakh 5 years 10% Rs 2.10 lakh Rs 40,818
G 8-seater Rs 21.37 lakh 5 years 10% Rs 2.14 lakh Rs 40,855
GX 7-seater Rs 22.29 lakh 5 years 10% Rs 2.23 lakh Rs 42,616

ZX (O) Rs 33.57 lakh 5 years 10% Rs 3.36 lakh Rs 64,179

To make it easier for you, we have chosen an average tenure period of 5 years as standard, along with approximately 10% down payment amount, and an estimated 10% bank interest rate. Do note that the buyer is free to decide the tenure for which he/she will be taking the loan for, whereas the interest rate varies from one bank to another. Moreover, you can also choose to pay a higher or a lower down payment, which will decrease or increase your easy monthly installment (EMI) respectively.
Toyota has launched the Innova Hycross in India at a base price of Rs 18.30 lakh for the entry-level G variant with the petrol engine, going all the way up to Rs 28.97 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom) for the range-topping ZX (O) strong hybrid model. However, the estimated on-road (Delhi) price of the Toyota MPV currently ranges between Rs 21.31 lakh and Rs 33.57 lakh.

For example, let’s assume you decide on purchasing the ZX (O) variant of the Toyota MPV. If you pay Rs 3.36 lakh as down payment out of the Rs 33.57 lakh on-road (Delhi) price, you would end up paying Rs 64,179 as EMI for a period of 60 months (5 years) against a total loan amount of Rs 30.20 lakh. Do note that at the end of the tenure, you would have paid Rs 38.51 lakh for the MPV over and above the down payment.
