Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV teaser reveals new details before launch


Mahindra is all set to launch its XUV400 electric SUV in the Indian market on September 8. The company has released a teaser video of its upcoming EV on its social media handles.
The teaser video provides a glimpse of the exterior of the Mahindra XUV400, seen doing rounds in the new Electric Blue exterior colour. The latest teaser suggests that Mahindra will be offering the electric SUV with some major exterior changes.
In the teaser video, the SUV gets a completely-sealed front grille with Mahindra Twin Peaks logo, Blue-coloured LED DRLs, a new tail-lamp and revised front and rear bumper.

XUV 400: Here we go in 3 days

The company has not provided any information on the interior of the upcoming electric SUV, however we expect it to get a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, a new gear selector knob, new rear AC vents for last row seats, new upholstery and blue highlights in the cabin.
Dimensionally, the new Mahindra XUV400 EV will be longer than the XUV300 SUV. We can expect the XUV400 electric SUV to be 4.2 metres in length.
Mechanically, the electric SUV will sit between the MG ZS EV and Tata Nexon EV Max. The Mahindra XUV400 EV will likely make use of a 40kWh-45kWh battery pack and 140bhp-150hp electric motor. We expect the electric SUV to offer a claimed range of 450 km as well as a real-world range of 320 km. Mahindra might provide the 50kW fast charging option with its new electric SUV.
The Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV is likely to be priced at Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). More details about the EV will be out on September 8, 2022. So stay tuned!
