Customers are mostly opting for the strong hybrid variant of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. The company states that around 35% of the bookings have been made for the strong hybrid version of the mid-size SUV. Presently, the Grand Vitara waiting period ranges from 2-8 months as per the variant.
The standard and mid-spec variants of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara have 2-4 months of waiting period, while the strong hybrid variants’ waiting period ranges from 6-8 months.

In terms of engine, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with strong hybrid technology and e-CVT unit. Another engine option is a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine that comes mated with a five-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automatic transmission. The Grand Vitara manual variant also receives the All-Wheel-Drive system as optional.

As far as the price is concerned, the mild-hybrid variants of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV is priced at Rs 10.45 lakh and goes up to Rs 17.99 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom) for the strong-hybrid variants. It competes with the likes of the Tata Harrier, Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Kia Seltos and the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder in the Indian market.
