Soon after the movie was announced, netizens started comparing Nawazuddin’s look with Archana Puran Singh. The uncanny resemblance did not just stop with comparison. Soon memes and comments started coming on social media. Hard hitting comments on her looks, comments of poor taste were made on her appearance.
In response to the comparison, “Miss Briganza” of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai told the media that: “It’s the hairstyle which has become synonymous with me that is causing all these comparisons. I’ve used this side-parted look during the early part of Kapil’s show (The Kapil Sharma Show). All I can say is it’s a huge compliment to be compared to NawaNz in ANY way possible.”

Archana has won hearts with her usual cool and carefree reply.
Handling trolls
With her reply, Archana handled the troll in the most effective manner. She did respond to those who trolled her, but she did not leave them any fodder to thrive further.
Archana’s reply was too honest for the trolls and it did not leave any scope to be dragged and discussed further.
Just as her savage replies on movies and on shows, Archana owned this trolling episode as well!
Acceptance
The biggest weapon any human being can have is self acceptance. The moment you accept yourself, nobody can deter you.
Archana’s reply is a perfect example of self acceptance. When compared with a male actor, she did not feel bad about it. Instead she accepted it gladly and also made some effort to help people understand the reason behind the comparison.

Took it positively
Instead of bad-mouthing anyone in this scenario, Archana took the wisest route. She gave a healthy explanation and also stood with the colleague with whom her looks were compared.
She said, “All I can say is it’s a huge compliment to be compared to Nawaz in ANY way possible.”
