Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) is all set to debut the new Innova Hycross in the Indian market on November 25, with the company already having released a range of teasers of the hybrid MPV on its social media handles. Now, Toyota has revealed yet another teaser of the upcoming car, confirming one of its crucial new features.
The 4th teaser image of the upcoming Innova hybrid reveals its first-in-class quilted leather powered ottoman captain seats in the middle row. The brown leather seats are not only reclinable, but also get a foldable footrest, which is similar to what is usually seen on high-end luxury cars. Apart from the footrest, the captain seats get individual armrests along with a tray in the middle with two cup holders.

Toyota has already revealed the new Innova Hycross in Indonesia in the form of the Kijang Innova Zenix Hybrid EV with a 2.0-litre strong-hybrid petrol engine with an e-CVT transmission. This is the same powertrain that is expected to be offered with the India-spec new-gen Innova. Moreover, the Innova Hycross will be larger in size than the Innova Crysta currently on sale, and also will be better equipped.
The equipment on offer with the Innova Hycross will likely include a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, powered tailgate, a pure EV mode as well as ADAS functions like adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure alert and so on. The Innova hybrid will be based on a completely new monocoque platform with a front-wheel drive configuration, unlike the Innova Crysta which is built on a ladder-frame chassis with a RWD setup.
